A photo contest will be launched by the Hà Nội Association of Photographic Artists in co-ordination with the Việt Nam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA).
The Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists (VAPA) will launch a
photo contest in Da Nang for people in the central and Central Highlands
regions from July 30 to August 28.
An exhibition featuring 117 photos taken by 14
members by the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists are on
display at the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Da Nang.
The Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artists decided to a
copyright centre, aiming to protect photographers'' rights to their work,
said Vu Quoc Khanh, chairman of the association.
A Vietnamese photographer famous for his nude photos
won the E.VAPA Gold award from the Viet Nam Association of Photographic
Artists (VAPA), the first time such works has been given the
association''s highest honour.
A monochrome picture of an athlete entitled Khoanh Khac (The Moment) by
Hoang Hai Thinh has won the gold prize at a photo contest launched by
the Photographic Artists Associations of Ha Noi and Viet Nam.
The Viet Nam Photographic Artists Association has criticised Ngo Sy Ngo,
head of the Thanh Sen photography club in central Ha Tinh province, for
copyright violation after he failed to correctly credit the pictures
featured in a photo book that he published.
An exhibition of award-winning photos from around
the world is scheduled to open today at the headquarters of the HCM
Association of Photographic Artists in Suong Nguyet Anh Street.
